Relationship between sirtuin family and vascular aging

Abstract

Abstract:

With the aggravation of aging, cardio-cerebrovascular diseases related to aging have become an urgent social problem to be solved. Cardio-cerebrovascular diseases belong to vascular diseases, and vascular aging is an important part of anti-aging research. At present, the sirtuin family is one of the new directions in the research of vascular senescence, and there are a lot of reports on the related literature at home and abroad. This article will review the latest research progress of sirtuin family, focusing on the potential advantages of SIRT1, SIRT3 and SIRT6 in the prevention and treatment of vascular aging, so as to provide new ideas for the study of aging related vascular diseases.
