Abstract:

The occult fracture of proximal femur in the elderly can not be found and judged in the early stage, which is very easy to lead to missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis in clinic, thus delaying treatment and affecting the prognosis of patients. Therefore, it is an extremely important and urgent task in clinical work to have a comprehensive understanding, timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment of occult proximal femoral fractures. At present, there are few reports about the occult fracture of proximal femur in the elderly, and most of them are case reports, lacking systematic and comprehensive interpretation and analysis. This paper summarizes the classification, risk factors and diagnostic methods of proximal femoral occult fracture, in order to provide useful reference for clinical timely diagnosis and treatment.
